GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer is a full-time position at LNO Honduras in Tegucigalpa.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and executes stellar web,
multimedia and print projects for a set client portfolio, including
posters, logos, flyers, web graphics, diplomas, brochures, newsletters,
T-shirts, webpages, email blasts, e-cards, banners, magazine covers,
PowerPoint presentations, and more.
- Provides creative input and designs
solutions while maintaining a high level of accuracy, consistency and
efficiency.
- Works closely with customers, peers
and interns to develop concepts and designs for each product, event,
season or campaign –from initial brainstorming sessions through printing,
publishing and delivery.
- Follows or develops style guides and
branding guidelines on all promotional products.
- Participates in the development of
360° cross-platform promotional initiatives.
- Selects or develops compelling visual
imagery that reflects each product’s mission and helps creatively reach
their goals by addressing varied markets and audiences
- Combines written and visual design
elements in a consistent manner to create a body of work recognizable as
part of a single corporate or product identity.
- Maintains an excellent visual sense, a
passion for great design with an outstanding eye for color, composition,
interface design and typography

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Undergraduate
degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising or related fields.
·
High
proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory, specifically Photoshop,
Illustrator and InDesign. Ability to work in both Macintosh and Windows
environments is needed.

Bilingual
(English – Spanish)
·
Portfolio
of recent work will be required for review.
·
Extraordinarily
creative with a refined sense of aesthetics, design principles and visual
marketing strategies. Keen for researching and applying innovative and
contemporary design techniques.
·
Resourcefulness
is highly-valued, as well as disposition to go the extra mile.
·
Must
be highly organized, deadline and detailed-oriented, self-driven and possess
excellent problem-solving skills.

Flexible
and adaptable to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with
simultaneous projects, multiple requests and shifting priorities.

Must
be confident and able to make informed decisions, be proactive, and take
initiative and ownership over projects.
